Multiple Per Diem Drivers needed for each of the following GSIL locations: Concord, Littleton, Manchester and Nashua, NH
Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) seeks per diem drivers to transport persons with disabilities via wheelchair accessible vehicles to social activities, non-emergency medical appointments, meetings and other events. Additionally, school transportation may be required for a GSIL student program.
Previous driving experience helpful but not required; paid training is provided. Must have a valid NH driver’s license, a good driving record, pass a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Background check, pass a DOT physical, and be able to obtain a NH School Bus Certificate. The transportation team at Community Action Program-BM, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for employment in the Concord NH office. The perfect candidate will have great customer service skills, a good sense of humor and like to have a varied schedule every week. The successful hire will be responsible for operating buses in the provision of transportation services to passengers of the Concord Area Transit and the RTS demand response senior bus program with regard to their safety, confidence and comfort. Must obey all applicable local, State and Federal laws and regulations. Valid CDL driving license with Air Brake and Passenger Endorsement required.
